About My Prints

As a firm believer in affordable, quality products, I offer three different types of prints at three different price points: luster photographic prints, giclée fine art paper prints, and cotton canvas prints. No matter which medium you choose, each piece of art is printed using professional, archival-grade materials and processes by my partner photography print production studio.

The result is nothing like a one-hour photo - my printed artwork will bring a vibrant and textured pop of beauty to your space. I want you to have that feeling of wanderlust, perhaps of a place you’ve visited or a place you hope to enjoy yourself one day. My goal is to provide you with beautiful prints that bring you joy whenever you walk into the room.

To determine which print type is best for you, read about each of the three types of prints below.

About The Three Types of Prints

(Print Mediums)

  • Fine Art Paper

Fine Art Paper prints are giclée-printed on archival quality Hahnemuhle Bamboo 290 low texture fine art paper, with high image detail and a matte finish. Please note that the print fills the entire paper (no border), and all images will be cropped by ¼ inch upon printing.

My partner photography production studio uses the giclée method for professional-grade fine art prints. Giclée is a method of printing that provides a high-quality, paint-like image by spraying a pigment-based ink from a large-format printer onto archival paper. This process is a form of “ink-jet” printing, which uses more colors than typical photo printing. The resulting artwork has a much higher level of detail and vibrancy in the image. Combined with the bamboo fine art paper, the resulting image is rich, vibrant and textured.

Fine Art Paper Prints are best for: adding to your art collection, displaying artwork that reflects a meaningful memory of a special place, or building out a fine art gallery in your home or business. I especially recommend giclée prints if you are creating a mixed-medium gallery wall in your home or business, because the finish will compliment paint or watercolor pieces in your collection.

  • Luster-Finish Photography Prints

My partner photography production studio uses a silver halide printing process for images on archival photographic paper (typically this is fujifilm fujicolor professional photo paper, or similar professional photo paper).

My digital images are printed in a darkroom (!). This traditional printing process uses photography paper exposed to light and silver-based chemicals to develop the image, much like film photography processing.

The luster finish is the perfect mid-tier reflective finish, with more texture and vibrancy than a matte photographic print.

*Please note that Luster Photographs are available in Gift Sets. Individual prints in this finish can be custom-printed upon your request.

Luster-Finish Photography Prints are best for: gifting to others, home, small office. As the most affordable print type option, Luster Photo Prints are also perfect for switching out images in existing frames (perfect for those low on wall space!), or as an affordable option for creating a gallery wall.

  • Cotton Canvas Prints

My Canvas Prints are printed onto heavyweight, archival-grade 100% cotton canvas, which is pre-stretched onto a pine wood frame (1 1/2 inches). The giclée method (pigment-based ink jet printing) is also used on my canvas prints to create beautifully vibrant and textured pieces of art.

Please note that the canvas sides are wrapped with the edges of the photograph, so the edges of the image you see online will be printed on the sides of your canvas print.

Cotton Canvas Prints can be displayed unframed, and each canvas arrives with an easy-to-hang hook attached to the back of your canvas frame.

Cotton Canvas Fine Art Prints are best for: large-format art prints, and those that want a lightweight, ready-to-hang option. Cotton canvas prints also work well with virtually any design style. Because they look beautiful unframed, you do not need to make any additional design decisions - just choose the spot on your wall, and voila!
